Job summary

Zoom Recruitment is recruiting Parcel Sorters / Freight Handlers for busy logistics sites in Botany and Alexandria. These are peak-season, casual roles with day, afternoon and night shifts and pay rates of $35-$43 per hour depending on shift start time.

Responsibilities include sorting parcels and freight, RF scanning, loading/unloading containers, manual handling, and general warehouse duties in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Reliable and available throughout the peak period.
• Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Previous warehouse or freight handling experience is a bonus, but not essential.
• Willing to complete drug and alcohol testing.
• Current Police Check issued within the last 6 months, or willing to obtain one.
• Able to work in Botany and/or Alexandria.

Responsibilities

• Sorting parcels and freight.
• RF scanning.
• Loading and unloading containers and trailers.
• Manual handling and repetitive lifting.
• Sorting freight into the correct areas for dispatch.
• General warehouse duties.
• Working in a busy, fast-paced environment.
