Job summary

MSS Security in Moranbah, QLD is seeking a Medical and Rescue Emergency Response professional to join the site emergency response team. You will provide first response to incidents and support training and HSE activities in a mining environment.

The role operates on a 7 on/7 off roster (day/night rotations) and is FIFO for non-residents, offering stability and opportunities for career progression within MSS Security.

Qualifications

• Must hold a current medical registration (AHPRA) as a Paramedic or Nurse.
• Certified in Emergency Response and Rescue and related rescue training.
• Coal Board Medical - Rescue up to date.

Responsibilities

• Provide first response to medical and rescue incidents on site.
• Support training and health, safety and environment activities.
• Coordinate with external emergency services during incidents.
• Participate in site emergency response drills and exercises.

About the Role

This dynamic and busy role will utilise your experience in Medical and Rescue Emergency Response & Injury and Health Management and offer rewarding career opportunity. You will be part of the site emergency response team by providing first response to all incidents and will be responsible for supporting the site training and HSE activities in a mining environment. This role offers a roster providing work life balance off - 7 on/ 7 off roster with both day/night rotations. This position is based in Moranbah QLD and is a FIFO role for those who do not reside locally.

Duties include but are not limited to:

• Medical Emergencies and injuries
• Trauma and workplace incidents
• Cardiac or respiratory emergencies
• Vehicle and machinery incidents
• Fire and Emergency response
• Rescue situations, including Confined space or Working at Heights
• Hazardous material or chemical incidents
• Emergency evacuations and site incidents
• Providing treatment and coordinating with external emergency services
