Job summary

Stanmore Resources in the Bowen Basin seeks a Paramedic Emergency Services Officer to support the South Walker Creek mine on a 7 on / 7 off roster. On site, you will provide emergency medical care and integrate with the emergency response team to safeguard worker health and safety.

Required qualifications include a Paramedic degree, current AHPRA registration, and the Cert 3 in Emergency Response and Rescue. A mine-site background is highly regarded.

Qualifications

• Paramedic/ESO experience is essential.
• Bachelor's Degree in Paramedical Science required.
• Current AHPRA registration required.
• Current Cert 3 in Emergency Response and Rescue required.
• Current drug and alcohol tester qualification required.

Responsibilities

• Provide emergency response assistance to coal mine workers on site.
• Operate as part of the on-site emergency response team.
• Maintain readiness and participate in on-going health and safety practices.
• Support site access processes and incident documentation.

We have a strong and thriving team in our South Walker Creekmine in the Bowen Basin and have an opportunity for a Paramedic Emergency ServicesOfficer to support our operations.

As Paramedic Emergency ServicesOfficeryou will be responsible for providing emergency response assistance to coal mine workers on site, working as an integral part of the emergency response team. This is a Wednesday to Tuesday (DS / NS) 7 on / 7 off rostered site-based role.

• Previous experience as a Paramedic / ESO on a mine site
• Bachelor's Degree in Paramedical Science
• Current AHPRA registration
• Current Cert 3 in Emergency Response and Rescue
• Current drug and alcohol tester qualification
• Cert IV in Training and Assessing (desirable)
• Have a collaborative working style with the ability to build mutually beneficial relationships across functional teams whilst working within a small team
• Awareness of site access processes and systems
• Current Australian drivers license
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and as a team
• Exceptional stakeholder engagement skills
