Job summary

Dentons Australia in Sydney is seeking a paralegal to support our Recovery and Restructuring practice on a full-time permanent basis. You will assist in managing a portfolio of files for major banks and lenders, alongside lawyers, with focus on compliance and quality assurance.

You will be well organised with strong drafting and client communication skills, handling workload under pressure and contributing to a collaborative team environment.

Qualifications

• Extremely well organised with superior drafting skills and close attention to detail.
• Handle a large workload and keep files up to date.
• Law firm experience not required; recoveries experience is favoured.
• Law students: apply only if at least 2 years remain in your degree.

Responsibilities

• Manage files from start to finish.
• Prepare and issue legal documents, including statutory notices and court documents.
• Act as the first contact for clients, maintaining regular communications via online portal.
• Liaise with customers on sensitive financial matters to arrange suitable outcomes.
• Collaborate with lawyers to progress matters through Courts.
