Job summary

Calvary Health Care Kogarah is seeking an experienced Social Worker to plan, coordinate and deliver high-level clinical social work services within Palliative Care and the MND Service. The role includes supervision, quality improvement initiatives and education delivery to other health professionals and students on clinical placement.

Applicants should have postgraduate social work credentials, eligibility for AASW membership, and demonstrated commitment to ongoing professional learning.

Qualifications

• Postgraduate social work with clinical focus in palliative care or progressive neurological conditions.
• Eligible for NSW/social work membership and Schedule C requirements.
• Strong communication and advocacy skills.
• Ability to lead quality improvement initiatives and education.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate and implement high-level social work care across Palliative Care and MND services.
• Provide supervision, contribute to quality improvement and education delivery.
• Teach students on clinical placement and support multidisciplinary teams.
