Red Bull Painting Pty Ltd is a full-time painting contractor based in Park Ridge, Logan, servicing Brisbane and surrounding areas. The role involves preparing surfaces and applying paints, stains, varnishes and other finishes to buildings and structures on site to a high standard of finish.

The ideal candidate holds a Certificate III in Painting and Decorating, has at least 2 years of experience in residential or commercial painting, and can work safely at heights with a White Card.

Formación

• Certificate III in Painting and Decorating or an equivalent qualification.
• At least 2 years experience as a painter in residential and/or commercial work.
• Hands-on experience with surface preparation and with brush, roller and airless spray application.
• Current White Card (General Construction Induction).
• Strong attention to detail and a consistently high standard of finish.
• Able to work safely at heights and follow site safety procedures.
• Good English communication, sufficient to follow job specifications and safety instructions.
• Current driver licence (highly regarded).

Responsabilidades

• Inspect completed work and perform touch-ups.
• Maintain tools and comply with health and safety requirements.

Red Bull Painting Pty Ltd is a painting contractor based in Park Ridge, Logan, established in 2020. We provide interior and exterior painting for residential and commercial projects across Brisbane, Logan and surrounding areas.

About the role

We are seeking an experienced full-time Painter to join our team. The role involves preparing surfaces and applying paints, stains, varnishes and other protective and decorative finishes to buildings and structures. All work is carried out on site to the job specification and to a high standard of finish.

Key responsibilities

• Read job specifications and confirm the scope of work, colour schedule and finish requirements with the site supervisor
• Set up the work area, including erecting ladders and mobile scaffolding and placing drop sheets and masking to protect surrounding surfaces
• Prepare surfaces by washing, scraping, sanding and removing old paint, and by filling cracks, holes and joints
• Select, mix and tint paints and match colours to the specification
• Apply primers, sealers, undercoats and finish coats using brushes, rollers and spray equipment
• Apply stains, varnishes and other protective finishes to timber and other surfaces
• [Apply texture coatings and hang wallpaper where required]
• Inspect completed work, carry out touch-ups and leave the site clean and tidy
• Clean and maintain brushes, rollers, spray equipment and other tools
• Follow work health and safety requirements, including safe work at heights and the safe handling and storage of paints and chemicals

About you

• Certificate III in Painting and Decorating or an equivalent qualification
