Job summary

Synergie Australia is seeking a Production Operator for a global paint manufacturer located in Clayton. The position is day shift, 6am–2pm, Monday to Friday with potential Saturday overtime, starting immediately.

Hourly pay starts at $34.96 with a raise to $36.81 after 8 weeks of training, with potential for permanent conversion for the right candidate. You will work on automated production and packaging lines and support colour matching, batching and quality checks.

Qualifications

• Previous manufacturing experience in food, chemical or pharmaceutical.
• Ability to clear police check and drug & alcohol assessments.
• Physically fit, lifting up to 20kg when required.
• Have full working rights in Australia with no restrictions (No Student or Working Holiday VISAs)
• Have access to reliable transport and ability to get to work.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor automated production and mixing equipment up to 20kg.
• Assist with colour matching, batching, and quality checks.
• Perform labelling, filling, and packaging of paint products.
• Carry out machine calibration, cleaning, and changeovers.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment throughout all stages of production.
