A leading Australian hospital in Adelaide is seeking a Pain Management Advanced Trainee/Fellow to contribute to their Pain Medicine Service. The role involves providing effective and safe clinical services under consultant supervision and participating in teaching and quality assurance initiatives. Ideal candidates will have a commitment to the clinical practice of pain management and adherence to hospital standards. This is a training-focused position with opportunities for research participation.

In a training capacity, you will contribute to the provision of a Pain Medicine Service within the objectives and philosophies of The Queen Elizabeth Hospital and the Faculty of Pain Medicine, Australian and New Zealand College of Anaesthetists (FPMANZCA), with a commitment to clinical teaching and research portfolios. Working under Consultant supervision, you will provide a comprehensive, effective, efficient and safe clinical pain medicine service to hospital patients. This will involve adhering to departmental policies, protocols and procedures that ensure the provision of clinically acceptable pain medicine practices and participating in clinical review and quality assurance programs to monitor and maintain standards of practice.
