SMEC is offering paid Undergraduate Engineer opportunities across civil, structural, geotechnical, transport, water and energy disciplines in Australia. You’ll work on live projects while studying, building technical capability and learning consulting practices within local teams.

We welcome students across multiple engineering fields who are curious, proactive and collaborative, with access to mentorship, structured learning and a pathway into our Graduate Development Program.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing an engineering degree (civil, structural, environmental, mechanical, electrical or similar).
• Interest in infrastructure, sustainability or the built environment.

Responsibilities

• Support engineering design, modelling and analysis.
• Assist with technical reports and project documentation.
• Contribute to project delivery across multidisciplinary teams.
• Gain exposure to site work and field activities.
