Job summary

nbn Australia is launching a 12-month Trainee Customer Field Technician program designed to connect more homes and businesses to high-speed fibre. You’ll work in the field, learn on the job, and earn a full-time salary while you study toward a Cert III in Telecommunications Technology.

The program supports an inclusive, safe environment with expert mentors and paid leave options. Open to individuals with full working rights in Australia; 18 weeks paid parental leave; a vehicle, tools and safety

Qualifications

• Must have a driver’s license and be able to travel to field sites.
• Eagerness to learn and develop in a hands-on field role.
• Interest in customer service and working independently at pace.

Responsibilities

• Work in the field helping to connect customers to the internet
• Be employed on a permanent full-time basis with leave entitlements
• Work towards a Cert III in Telecommunications Technology over the 12-month traineeship
• Be supported by experts in the field to complete your traineeship, learning how to be a Customer Field Technician
