Job summary

Study and Work invites driven graduates to join a 12-month paid internship in IT Infrastructure, Cloud Computing and Cyber Security. Location opportunities include Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane and Perth with full-time employment terms and a salary of AUD $60,000 per year plus superannuation.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s or Master’s in IT/CS/Cyber Security or related discipline completed or near completion.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with good communication and teamwork.
Basic networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs) and cloud platforms knowledge.
Familiarity with Windows Server, Linux and Microsoft 365 environments recommended.
Exposure to Azure, AWS or Google Cloud helpful; scripting skills in PowerShell, Python or Bash advantageous.
Industry certifications such as CCNA, AZ-900, AWS Practitioner are valued but not required.

Responsibilities

Design and implement basic network solutions and security controls.
Assist with cloud infrastructure tasks on Azure, AWS, or GCP.
Support Windows Server, Active Directory and Microsoft 365 environments.
Contribute to security monitoring, vulnerability assessments and incident response.
Document networks and create runbooks for operations teams.
Assist with IAM, backups, disaster recovery and business continuity.
Participate in training and practical projects to gain real industry experience.
