Job summary

Bellarine Community Health is seeking a part-time Paediatric Speech Pathologist (Grade 2) to join the Child Health and Development team. The role is a 12‑month fixed term and involves a mixed caseload across community health and NDIS clients.

You will work with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality clinical services for children and young people, in clinic, schools, and home environments, with supervision of students and early career clinicians.

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualification in Speech Pathology and registration with Speech Pathology Australia.
• Advanced paediatric clinical skills and problem solving.
• Collaborative, family and child centred, with parent upskilling.
• Strong communication, teamwork, and leadership abilities.
• Organised, able to manage a busy caseload and meet deadlines.
• Commitment to ongoing professional development.

Responsibilities

• Manage a mixed caseload of community health and NDIS clients.
• Provide high-quality clinical speech pathology services to children and young people.
• Complete assessments, deliver therapy (individual or group) and follow‑up.
• Work in clinic, early childhood settings, schools and homes.
• Supervise students and junior staff as required.
• Participate in clinical governance activities.
