Job summary

Lifespan Therapies in Brendale, QLD, is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist for a part-time or full-time on-site role. You will assess, diagnose, and manage communication and swallowing needs for children and young people, working closely with families and a multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated skills in Speech Therapy and management of Speech sound disorders.
• Experience supporting individuals with Communication Disorders and Language Disorders.
• Relevant degree in Speech Pathology and eligibility for professional registration.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills; ability to collaborate with families in a multidisciplinary team.
• New graduates and experienced clinicians are encouraged to apply; paediatric experience is highly regarded.

Responsibilities

• Assess, diagnose, and manage communication and swallowing needs for children and young people.
• Conduct comprehensive assessments, develop and implement evidence-based therapy plans.
• Document progress clearly and in a timely manner; maintain accurate clinical records.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team and participate in case discussions.
• Support families with education and ongoing professional development.
