Job summary

Therapies for Kids is seeking a Paediatric Speech Language Pathologist to join our Lilyfield, NSW team. You will work within a transdisciplinary group of therapists to deliver high-quality services to children and families.

The role involves assessments, tailored therapy, collaboration with families and professionals, and ongoing professional development in a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• A degree in Speech Language Pathology.
• Minimum of one year experience in paediatric settings.
• Full registration with Speech Pathology Australia is required.
• Full Australian working rights.
• Ongoing professional development opportunities, including supervision and in-house training.

Responsibilities

• Conducting comprehensive speech and language assessments to identify children's needs.
• Developing and implementing individualized therapy plans for speech, language, and communication difficulties.
• Providing therapy sessions tailored to each child's needs and goals.
• Collaborating with families, educators and other healthcare professionals for coordinated care.
• Maintaining detailed clinical records and providing progress updates to families and referring professionals.
• Participating in team meetings and contributing to the development of the therapy program.
