Job summary

Royal Children's Hospital in Melbourne is offering two full-time, ongoing Physiotherapist positions within the Paediatric Rotation Program (PRP). You will rotate across specialist areas every four months, delivering evidence-based paediatric physiotherapy in a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities include providing services to children and adolescents, collaborating with medical, nursing and allied health staff, and maintaining competency through departmental rotations.

Qualifications

• Hold a Physiotherapy degree qualification from an accredited course/university and registration to practice as a Physiotherapist with AHPRA
• Have experience working in large hospitals with high acuity caseloads

Responsibilities

• Provide evidence-based physiotherapy services to patients referred by designated units in collaboration with supervising clinicians
• Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to ensure delivery of a holistic, streamlined approach to care that best meets the needs of the patient and their family
• Work in a flexible manner and participate in other duties as allocated consistent with skill level to ensure adequate cover and clinical care across the whole Physiotherapy Department service
• Achieving and maintaining competency in relevant skills in line with departmental requirements relevant to the role
