Job summary

Mediix in Moreton Bay Region, QLD is seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist specialising in paediatrics for a community-based role, working with children in home, school, and early learning environments. You’ll manage your own schedule with supportive team behind you.

You’ll visit families, deliver play-based and functional therapy, support children with developmental delays, ASD and sensory needs, and collaborate with parents and educators.

Qualifications

• Experience in paediatrics or strong interest in community-based work
• Confident working independently while staying connected to a team
• Warm, engaging, and family-focused approach
• AHPRA registration is required to practice as an occupational therapist

Responsibilities

• Visiting families in their homes or schools
• Delivering play-based and functional therapy sessions
• Supporting children with developmental delays, ASD, and sensory needs
• Working closely with parents, carers, and educators
• Completing assessments and reports without unrealistic time pressure
