Job summary

Care Origin in Melton is seeking an Occupational Therapist to join the clinic-based paediatric team. The role focuses on assessments, goal setting, and intervention for children and young people within NDIS.

You will collaborate with families, teachers and other professionals to deliver person-centred care. This part-time position offers flexibility, no unrealistic KPI expectations, and potential move to full-time for the right candidate; a company car is available for community visits if

Qualifications

• Bachelor or Master qualification in Occupational Therapy.
• Current AHPRA registration as an Occupational Therapist.
• Current or eligible NDIS Worker Screening Check.
• Working with Children Check (WWCC).
• Current driver's licence is required.

Responsibilities

• Complete occupational therapy assessments for children and young people.
• Develop individualised therapy goals and intervention plans.
• Address fine and gross motor skills, self-care and school participation.
• Work closely with parents, carers, teachers and other professionals.
• Prepare progress notes, therapy plans and NDIS-related reports.
• Review participant progress and update therapy strategies as required.
• Provide practical strategies for use at home, school and community.
• Contribute to multidisciplinary team discussions.
• Identify and report participant risks or safeguarding concerns.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
