Job summary

Ability Action Australia is seeking a paediatric Occupational Therapist to join our growing team in Australia. You will support children and families across home, community, and clinic settings, with a varied caseload and flexible work options.

You’ll receive supervision, PD support, and opportunities for development with MedHealth and our parent company. Competitive remuneration and tools to promote independence are provided.

Qualifications

• Current AHPRA registration as an Occupational Therapist.
• Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Proactive, client-centred mindset with a desire to innovate and grow.
• Genuine passion for working in the disability and community sector.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.

Responsibilities

• Manage a caseload aligned with areas of interest.
• Conduct clinical assessments across emotional, psychological, cognitive, developmental, and physical functions.
• Develop individualized, evidence-based therapy goals and interventions.
• Provide environmental modification advice for homes, schools, workplaces and residential settings.
• Recommend and facilitate Assistive Technology (AT) to promote independence.
• Stay compliant with current legislation and NDIS guidelines.
• Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
