Job summary

Chilwell is seeking an Occupational Therapist to support four local primary schools in the Greater Geelong area, including Chilwell PS, Newtown PS, Ashby PS and Hamlyn Banks PS, focusing on inclusion and wellbeing alongside academic learning. You will collaborate with allied health experts to implement adjustments to support neurodivergent students and ensure equitable access to learning.

The role runs from 27 January 2027 to 23 July 2027, with paid school holiday periods and realistically

Qualifications

• Occupational Therapist with focus on inclusive education and wellbeing.
• Experience supporting neurodivergent students is preferred.

Job description

This position in to commence on January 27th 2027 until 23rd July 2027.

The combined schools project consists of four local Primary schools in the Greater Geelong area (Newtown and Herne Hill) - Chilwell PS, Newtown PS, Ashby PS and Hamlyn Banks PS. All four schools are committed to prioritising inclusion and wellbeing, equally with academic learning, to maximise student engagement and outcomes. The schools commit to working in partnership with key allied health experts to implement recommendations to ensure that all students have equitable access to learning and receive necessary adjustments to support them. This service will support children with a range of disabilities to improve their learning and wellbeing.
