Job summary

Central Australian Aboriginal Congress is seeking a Paediatric Clinical Neuropsychologist to conduct neuropsychological evaluations and develop tailored treatment plans within the CYATS team. You will collaborate with healthcare professionals to implement interventions for Aboriginal children and young people with neurodevelopmental disorders.

The role emphasizes culturally appropriate, individualised care and requires travel to remote locations.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree or higher in Clinical Neuropsychology with full registration with AHPRA and with Clinical Neuropsychology Endorsement.
• Demonstrated experience in diagnostic neuropsychological assessments, case formulation and behavioural interventions.
• Demonstrated experience working in a multidisciplinary team.
• Demonstrated experience in neuropsychological report writing and developing appropriate recommendations.
• Awareness of Aboriginal culture and willingness to incorporate Aboriginal values into clinical practice.
• Willingness, ability and appropriate levels of health and fitness to travel to remote locations.

• Implement therapeutic interventions in collaboration with our MDT.
• Refine intervention strategies to meet needs of Aboriginal children and young people.
