Job summary

Central Australian Aboriginal Congress invites applications for a Psychologist to provide psychological assessment and therapeutic services across a range of mental health issues, including trauma and substance use. Remote travel is an inherent requirement.

The successful candidate will hold a four-year APAC-accredited program with full general registration (AHPRA) and be eligible to apply for a Medicare Provider Number to bill for services.

Qualifications

• APAC accredited four-year psychology program with full general registration (AHPRA).
• Eligibility to apply for Medicare Provider Number and bill for services.
• Experience in assessments, diagnosis, case formulation with complex presentations.

Responsibilities

• Provide psychological assessments and therapeutic services for a broad range of mental health issues.
• Travel to remote locations is an inherent requirement of the role.
• Deliver evidence-based practice and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
