Job summary

NSW Health at Blacktown and Mount Druitt Hospitals is seeking a Senior Occupational Therapist to lead the development of a paediatric and neonatal OT service across two sites. You will work with inpatient and outpatient teams to deliver high-quality, evidence-based care in a patient-centred environment.

The role requires AHPRA registration, extensive paediatric/neonatal experience, and the ability to supervise staff and students.

Qualifications

• Registration with AHPRA as an Occupational Therapist
• Extensive post graduate clinical experience in the assessment and management of paediatric patients
• Ability to supervise staff and students

Responsibilities

• Lead the development of paediatric and neonatal occupational therapy services across Blacktown and Mount Druitt Hospitals
• Provide high-level clinical expertise and independent professional judgement in paediatric and neonatal care
• Supervise and support Occupational Therapists, students and Allied Health Assistants
• Contribute to quality improvement, research and service development initiatives
