Job summary

The Royal Children’s Hospital (RCH) in Melbourne is seeking a Paediatric ENT consultant for a fixed-term part-time role (1–2 days per week) from January 2027 to June 2027. The position involves outpatient clinics, elective theatre, inpatient care, and on-call ENT coverage within the Otolaryngology Department, with supervision of junior medical staff.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Supervise medical students and post-graduate trainees in Otolaryngology.
• Lead high-quality clinical care for paediatric patients in the ENT service.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to solve complex clinical and logistical issues.
• Participate in on-call ENT roster and escalation processes.
• Contribute to research, audit and quality improvement projects.
