Job summary

Queensland Government is seeking an Allied Health professional to support Child Development Services and Community Paediatric Services through a single-entry intake model. You will be the first contact for families and play a key role in triaging referrals and guiding access to paediatric services.

The role requires strong clinical judgement, evidence-based paediatric practice, and the ability to work across hospital and community teams while upholding governance and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Qualified allied health professional with registration to practice in paediatrics.
• Experience in reviewing and triaging referrals for paediatric allied health services.
• Ability to lead quality improvement, policy development, and ensure governance and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the first contact for families accessing paediatric services.
• Review, assess and triage referrals based on clinical needs and family circumstances.
• Coordinate access to services, ensuring timely, appropriate care in the right setting.
