University of вярдания. This role is a part‑time (0.2 FTE) position in the Department of Paediatrics, Melbourne Medical School, University of Melbourne. A$124,656.00–A$148,023.00 per annum (Level B) plus 17% superannuation.

Position Overview

As a Paediatric Academic Coordinator at Western Health, you will shape the future of medical education by delivering high‑quality clinical teaching and mentoring in child and adolescent health. You will coordinate clinical placements, contribute to curriculum development and engage in research projects, collaborating with a team of passionate educators.

Responsibilities
  • Lead student orientations, facilitate team‑based learning, and conduct clinical skills coaching and assessments.
  • Develop and manage clinical placements to align with the child and adolescent health curriculum.
  • Participate in curriculum review and development, ensuring alignment with educational goals.
  • Provide guidance and mentoring to students, fostering a supportive learning environment.

Essential Qualifications and Experience
  • Medical registration in Australia or eligibility for registration.
  • Completed postgraduate training (FRACP or equivalent) in an appropriate specialty.
