Job summary

St Vincent’s Private Community Hospital Griffith is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse with anaesthetic and PACU expertise to join the theatres team. You will care for patients recovering from surgery, monitor, manage pain, and identify complications early in a high-acuity private setting.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years' RN experience in theatres.
• Minimum 12 months in Anaesthetics and PACU.
• Current AHPRA Registration (DIV 1).
• Cardiology or Cardiothoracic experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide post-anaesthetic PACU care with continuous assessment and pain management.
• Collaborate with surgeons, anaesthetists and healthcare team to optimise outcomes.
• Maintain detailed patient records and document nursing interventions.
• Adapt to shift patterns including days and nights.
