Job summary
Mater Hospital Springfield is seeking experienced Registered Nurses to join our Post Anaesthetic Care Unit (PACU) in full-time or part-time roles commencing September 2026. You will deliver patient-centred care across a diverse surgical caseload in a modern perioperative setting.

Qualifications
- Current registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse.
- Recent experience in Post Anaesthetic Care Unit (PACU) is essential.
- Experience caring for obstetric and/or paediatric patients is desirable.
- Strong clinical assessment and documentation skills.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive nursing care for patients recovering from anaesthesia.
- Monitor and respond to patient conditions during recovery.
- Collaborate with anaesthetists, surgeons and multidisciplinary team.
- Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to infection prevention standards.
- Participate in quality improvement and professional development.
