Job summary

SunRice, Cobden location, is seeking a Packing/Production Operator for the CopRice division. You will produce bagged feed products, operate packing equipment, and support mill operations to keep production running smoothly.

Standard hours are 6:00am–2:30pm with flexibility for shift work. Candidates should be safety-minded, detail-focused, and able to adapt across production and milling tasks.

Qualifications

• Experience operating machinery or production lines in manufacturing.
• Knowledge of GMP/HACCP principles.
• SAP experience or familiarity with warehouse/logistics systems.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor bagging/packing equipment safely and efficiently.
• Run packing machines and support production line activities.
• Perform pre-start checks and monitor equipment performance.
• Adjust configurations for different products.
• Conduct quality checks to meet specifications.
• Maintain clean and safe work area.
• Provide backfill support in the Mill when required.
• Coordinate raw material needs and loading of orders.
• Complete production records and stock counts accurately.
