Job summary

Evolve Scientific is seeking a Packaging Quality Analyst to join our client’s team in Sydney’s Western Suburbs on a day shift (6am-2pm). This full-time, casual role may become permanent for the right candidate and is ideal for immediate start.

You’ll act as the primary quality contact on production lines, working with Operations and Production to investigate issues, perform sensory testing, and uphold hygiene and food safety standards across the plant.

Qualifications

• Experience implementing and maintaining quality standards in a food/beverage environment.
• Proven ability to troubleshoot and resolve production-related quality issues.
• Ability to manage stakeholders across production and operations teams.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary quality contact for production lines during shifts.
• Collaborate with Operations and Production teams to ensure quality.
• Investigate, resolve and close out quality issues and corrective actions.
• Review out-of-spec results and conduct hygiene/internal audits.
• Perform sensory testing and document review to support food safety standards.

Our client is a well-known alcoholic beverage manufacturer based in Sydney’s Western Suburbs. They are seeking a Packaging Quality Analyst to join their team working the day shift position (6am-2pm). This is a full-time, casual role unit February, however, there are permanent opportunities for the right candidate. Ideally, our client would like the successful candidate to start immediately.

Duties:

• Primary quality contact for the production lines during night shift.
• Work closely with Operations and Production teams.
• Investigate and resolve quality issues.
• Problem solving and troubleshooting production-related quality concerns.
• Manage and close out corrective actions.
• Review and assess out-of-specification results.
• Conduct hygiene and internal audits.
• Complete documentation reviews.
• Perform sensory assessments/testing.
• Support continuous quality and food safety standards.

Skills/experience:

• Tertiary qualifications in Food Science or a related discipline
• Previous experience with quality standards in a food/ beverage manufacturing environment
• Previous experience working in the beverage industry is highly regarded
• Comfortable working independently and making decisions.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving capability.
• Confident stakeholder management skills with production and operations teams.
• Able to assess risk and elevate significant quality concerns when necessary.
