L&T Technology Services seeks a packaging project engineer to drive mechanical FMCG packaging initiatives across primary, secondary, and end-of-line systems. You will design and optimize packaging lines, collaborate with clients and vendors, and lead installation schedules to ensure timely delivery.

The role emphasizes automation understanding, layout optimization, and effective communication to deliver cost-effective, high-quality packaging solutions for diverse SKUs and new product launches.

Qualifications

• Should execute mechanical FMCG packaging projects.
• Should have strong understanding of Automation in packaging.
• Specialist in Primary/Secondary/Tertiary packaging and End-of-Line packaging systems.
• Able to create/manage packing project schedules for machine/line installation.
• Experience with 2D/3D layouts and optimization of human-material movement.

Responsabilités

• Coordinate with 3rd parties for end-to-end packaging solutions.
• Assess machine operations, analyze requirements, and suggest process improvements.
• Track and improve OEE of packaging machines.
• Budget, schedule and risk management for projects.

Description du poste

• Should be able to execute mechanical FMCG - Packaging projects
• Should have very good understanding of Automation and latest technology used in packaging industry.
• Specialty in Primary Packaging, secondary packaging and End-of-Line (EOL) packaging systems.
• Should be able to create\manage Packing project Schedule for Machine\Line installation.
• Should be able to work on 2D and 3D layout with Optimization of Human-material movement, machine and methodology study.
• Ability to manage client and vendor/OEM interaction and peer review on design issues during all project development phases.
• Should be able to understand machine operations and can analyse requirements and makes recommendations for improvement in processes.
• Tracking and Improvement of OEE of the Packaging machines
• Basic understanding of simulation software is preferrable for Project like packing line optimization.
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
• Capable to defining or analyse the packing line requirement based on various SKUs or New products launch for the packaging line.
• Should be able to co-ordinate\Manage 3rd parties for any end-to-end solution to be provided to our client.
• Pack material and finish goods path optimization. Consultancy/EPCm experience in FEED / Detailed Design of FMCG Projects.
