Job summary

Cotton On is seeking a creative Graphic Designer focused on packaging design to cover a 12-month maternity leave in Geelong. You will translate briefs into commercially-driven designs, collaborating with stakeholders while working autonomously and within a team to deliver on-trend packaging that aligns with our brand DNA.

You should bring a degree in Graphic Design and proven packaging design experience, with proficiency in Illustrator, InDesign, and Photoshop.

We are looking for a creative and innovative person to join our Cotton On team as a Graphic Designer with a focus on packaging design on a 12 month maternity leave cover. You will help deliver on products that our customers love and which reflect current trends in a fun and exciting way. You will collaborate with key stakeholders to interpret direction and be able to translate ideas into commercially-driven design solutions. You will be able to work autonomously and as part of a team, to design graphics that align with our brand DNA. You will have a keen eye for design and enjoy working alongside with like-minded creatives.

About The Candidate

• Degree / qualification in a relevant field i.e. Graphic Design
• Demonstrated experience in a Packaging Design role
• Proficient with Adobe Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop and MS Excel
• Proven ability in interpreting briefs and translating ideas into designs
• Confident liaising with key stakeholders and suppliers
• Ability to problem solve, take initiative and deliver on expectations and deadlines
• Strong planning, organisational and time management skills
