Job summary

Tetra Tech International Development in Australia leads the PNG Ports Infrastructure Investment Program communications, public diplomacy and stakeholder engagement. You will develop and execute the PIIP communications strategy, shaping messaging for ports, events and media across the region.

You will mentor local partners, coordinate with government and diplomatic missions, and produce high-quality content for media, digital channels and promotional materials, while ensuring branding consistency

Qualifications

Five+ years in senior communications, PR, journalism, marketing or related role, preferably in international development.
Experience developing communications strategies and creating engaging content for media, digital and social channels.
Excellent writing and relationship-building skills in cross-cultural environments.

Responsibilities

Lead the PIIP communications strategy and develop plans for ports, activities and events.
Develop high-quality content including media releases, speeches, social content, fact sheets and digital materials.
Promote the program through public diplomacy and stakeholder engagement with partners and diplomatic missions.
Build local communications capability through mentoring and knowledge sharing with local partners.
