Job summary

Australia’s Oyster Coast seeks hands-on individuals for full-time oyster farming roles in coastal NSW. You will perform land-based and on-water activities, including grading, seeding, harvesting, and equipment maintenance.

Ideal candidates bring stamina, reliability, and a passion for marine work; licences like Driver, Forklift, and Coxswain are advantageous. Permanent Australian work rights are preferred, with a strong team environment and outdoor lifestyle.

Qualifications

• Permanent rights to work in Australia preferred.
• Strong hands-on skills around marine operations.
• Punctual and reliable with good teamwork and stamina.
• Licence to drive, forklift licence and Coxswain grade 3 desired.

Responsibilities

• Grading and preparing oysters for market and transport.
• Stripping oyster slats and loading/unloading punts.
• Packing, basket construction and oyster racking.
• Operate and maintain farm mechanical gear and perform facility cleaning.
• Cultivate, seed and harvest oysters on-water operations.
• Maintain oyster leases and related infrastructure; vessel handling duties.
