Job summary

FedEx Australia is seeking owner‑driver contractors to deliver and collect parcels, serving as the face of the company on daily routes. You will handle standard and special services freight, including time‑sensitive consignments, with full training provided.

This role offers above award wages with weekly payments, permanent and regional runs when available, and a strong safety culture. You will work within a flexible environment supporting your own business setup and growth.

Qualifications

• Safety focused with an understanding of Chain of Responsibility (training available).
• Ability to provide a driving history record.
• Has or will form an ABN/ACN and Pty Ltd (or be willing to become one).
• Valid full Australian working rights and vehicle suitable for loads (1–3 tonne, white, <5 years).
• Insurance coverage: public liability and motor/compulsory third-party insurance.

Responsibilities

• Deliver and collect parcels to customers daily as the face of FedEx.
• Work with the Special Services team handling time‑sensitive, high‑value freight.

What you’ll be working on

Our Owner Drivers are the ‘face’ of our company who engage with our customers every day, delivering and collecting parcels to ensure we can get their freight to wherever it needs to go – around the corner or across the globe.

You’ll be a part of our Special Services team who are at the “pointy end” of logistics. On a daily basis we are dealing with bloods, clinical trial samples, medical consignments and secure freight which must be delivered on time, in full, to set and tight deadlines.

• Above award wages – paid weekly with no held pay
