Job summary

Guzman y Gomez Mexican Kitchen is seeking crew members to work late into the night and into the morning at GYG Croydon. You’ll be on the front line greeting customers, taking orders, rolling burritos, and assisting with food prep across a fast-paced team.

You should have hospitality or customer-facing experience, be eager to learn, and bring a can-do attitude to shifts. Legal right to work in Australia is required.

• Experience in hospitality or fast-paced environments.
• You’re eager, ready to learn, and willing to put in the effort to do your best work.
• You’ll bring a ‘can do’ attitude and support your fellow crew members.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and take orders on the front line.
• Roll burritos, prepare orders, restock fridges and keep the restaurant tidy.
• Assist with basic food prep and learn other roles across the team.

We're on the lookout for new crew who can work late into the night and early into the morning to join our experienced team atGYG Croydon!

Our crew members are the lifeblood of every Guzman y Gomez restaurant. You’ll be on the front line – greeting customers, taking orders, rolling burritos, preparing orders, re-stocking the fridges, completing basic food prep, keeping the restaurant tidy, and there are opportunities to learn other roles across the team.

And for those more interested in working in the kitchen, you’ll be working with fresh ingredients and vibrantMexican flavours, producing delicious products for our new and regular guests.

About you

• You’ll ideally have experience in hospitality, customer-facing roles and/or other fast-paced environments.
• You’re eager, ready to learn, and willing to put in the effort to do your best work.
• You’ll bring a ‘can do’ attitude to every shift and will support your fellow crew members.
