Nurse Next Door Penrith is seeking a dynamic Registered Nurse to join our community care team on fixed-term, full-time overnight shifts. You will deliver high-quality clinical care and mentor our care team, supporting clients to live safely at home.

This role covers a range from 24-hour complex care to shorter visits, with duties including wound care, catheter care, diabetes management, and medication oversight. AHPRA registration and experience in community or aged care are essential.

Qualifications

• Current RN registration with AHPRA.
• Experience in community care, aged care or disability support.
• Available for rotating roster including overnight shifts.
• Wound care, catheter and continence care, and medication management.
• Strong clinical assessment and decision-making skills.
• Ability to work independently in clients' homes.

Responsabilités

• Deliver high-quality nursing care per individual care plans.
• Perform health assessments, clinical reviews and ongoing monitoring.
• Provide wound, catheter, continence, and diabetes care.
• Identify changes in condition and escalate concerns.
• Liaise with GPs and the care team.
• Mentor Caregivers and Enrolled Nurses.
• Complete progress notes and documentation on time.
• Follow Nurse Next Door policies and aged care standards.
