Camp Australia is seeking an Outside School Hours Care Educator for Vacation Care in North Arm. You’ll lead engaging activities for primary-aged children, support safety and inclusion, and help families during school holidays.

You’ll work before/after school or during holidays, with a focus on building trusted relationships, nutritious snacks, and compliant programming. Training and career growth opportunities are available, with paid onboarding and ongoing development.

Qualifications

• Enthusiastic, engaging approach to childcare and strong relationship-building skills.
• Willingness to study or hold a childcare-related Diploma.
• Blue Card and safety trainings are required or willing to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Maintain an engaging, safe, and compliant program for primary-aged children.
• Lead daily activities during before/after school and vacation care.
• Prepare and serve healthy snacks and build relationships with children, families and the school community.

As an educator with us, you'll be at the heart of all the fun and excitement, whether it's before school, after school, or during school holidays, you'll be the one helping children grow, learn and make lasting memories.

In this role, you’ll maintain an engaging, safe, and compliant program. Take part in daily activities for primary-aged children. Prepare and serve delicious, healthy snacks, and build meaningful relationships with children, families, and the local school community.

ABOUT YOU

• Enthusiastic, engaging approach to childcare with strong relationship-building skills.
• You have completed, are studying, or are willing to study a childcare-related Diploma or equivalent
• Valid Blue Card (or willingness to obtain).
• Valid National Child Safety Training (or willingness to obtain).
• Valid First Aid, CPR, Anaphylaxis, and Asthma certificates (or willingness to obtain).
• Availability between 6:30 am-9:00 am & 2:30 pm - 6:30 pm, Monday to Friday.
