Job summary

Camp Australia is seeking an enthusiastic Outside School Hours Care Educator to join our Bendigo team. You will help run before school, after school and holiday programs for primary-aged children, creating engaging activities and a safe environment within the school community.

You will be supported to develop professionally, with access to subsidised Diploma study pathways, onboarding and ongoing training, and above-award hourly rates. Availability weekdays mornings and afternoons is required.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to engage children and build relationships.
• Diploma in childcare or equivalent or currently studying.
• Working with Children Check/Blue Card/Ochre Card or willingness to obtain.
• National Child Safety Training or willingness to obtain.
• Child Protection Early Childhood Learning Certificate or willingness to obtain.
• First Aid/CPR/Anaphylaxis/Asthma certificates or willingness to obtain.
• Availability 6:30 am–9:00 am and 2:30 pm–6:30 pm, Monday to Friday.

ABOUT YOU

• Enthusiastic, engaging approach to childcare with strong relationship-building skills.
• You have completed, are studying, or are willing to study a childcare-related Diploma or equivalent
• Valid Working with Children Check / Blue Card / Ochre Card (or willingness to obtain).
• Valid National Child Safety Training (or willingness to obtain).
