Job summary

The TheirCare OSHC Coordinator will lead a before/after school and holiday program at Caringbah Public School, delivering engaging activities for children aged 5–12 and building strong relationships with the school community.

You'll mentor staff, ensure program compliance, and manage administrative duties to keep the service running smoothly, with flex hours and school-based scheduling in NSW.

Qualifications

• ACE CQA-recognised qualification (Teaching, Childcare, Community Services or similar).
• Valid Employee Working with Children Check for your state.
• HLTAID012 First Aid in a Childcare Setting or equivalent.
• Relevant food safety & mandatory reporting certificates.
• National Criminal History Check dated within 6 months.

Responsibilities

About the Role

As an OSHC Coordinator, you’ll lead your own service, providing trusted before and after school care and holiday programs that support local families. You’ll:

• Design and deliver engaging programs for children 5 - 12 years of age.
• Build positive relationships as the face of TheirCare in your school community.
• Mentor and support your team to develop their skills and growth within the industry.
• Oversee compliance and administrative tasks to keep your service running smoothly.

Hours: 7:00am – 9:00am & 2:15pm – 6:30pm, plus weekly admin hours!

Monday to Friday only — no weekend work!

About You

You are passionate about making a difference in children’s lives and thrive on building strong, positive relationships. While experience in childcare or OSHC is preferred, it’s not essential.

You will have:

Completed or currently studying an ACECQA-recognised qualification (Teaching, Childcare, Community Services, or similar). Check www.acecqa.gov.au for details relevant to your state.

A valid Employee Working with Children Check for your state.

Willingness to obtain HLTAID012 First Aid in a Childcare Setting, Relevant food safety & mandatory reporting certificates and a National Criminal History Check dated within 6 months.
