Job summary

Sports Tuition Pty Ltd is seeking a Program Coordinator to lead staff and day-to-day operations for school camp activities across various adventure and outdoor programs. You will coordinate programs from arrival to departure, manage dining arrangements, and direct students to activities.

The role requires a Cert IV in Outdoor Recreation or Education, 5+ years’ industry experience, and qualifications in canoeing, rock climbing, high ropes and surf. First aid and WWC are required.

Qualifications

• Cert IV in Outdoor Recreation or Education or equivalent qualification.
• At least 5 years industry experience.
• Qualified in canoeing, rock climbing, high ropes and surf; abseiling is advantageous.
• Current first aid certification.
• Working with children blue card.
• Proficiency in Word and Excel.
• Excellent communication skills to deal with staff.

Job description

The role of Program Coordinator is a senior leadership position reporting to the Director. The position will oversee all staff and the day-to-day operation of the business. You will coordinate programs from the time students step off the bus until they re-board to head home. This will encompass controlling the dining room for meals and directing students from a central location to their activities. During activity time, you will check in with instructors and teachers at each activity to ensure it is running effectively.

Excellent communication skills to deal with staff

In 2027, we will also offer canoe expedition camps on the upper reaches of the Brisbane River.
