Job summary

Roles are based in Panania, Roselands, Blacktown, Bankstown, Rydalmere, Riverstone and Rooty Hill, offering outdoor work, community contribution and experience in parks maintenance, bush regeneration, roadworks and civil construction.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in labouring, parks maintenance, landscaping, bush regeneration, civil construction, road maintenance or a similar outdoor environment.
• Physically fit and capable of performing manual outdoor work
• Strong commitment to workplace safety
• Reliable, punctual and able to work effectively within a team
• Good communication skills and a positive attitude

• Mowing, brush cutting, edging and landscaping tasks

• Road maintenance, asphalt repairs and civil labouring

• General labouring and manual handling duties

HOBAN Recruitment is currently seeking reliable and hardworking Outdoor Maintenance & Civil Labourers for a range of ongoing opportunities with local government clients across Sydney.

With positions available in Panania, Roselands, Blacktown, Bankstown, Rydalmere, Riverstone and Rooty Hill, these roles offer the opportunity to work outdoors, contribute to the local community, and gain experience across parks maintenance, bush regeneration, roadworks and civil construction activities. About You:

Essential Requirements:

• Current unrestricted Australian Driver Licence
• Reliable vehicle and ability to travel to various depot locations
• White Card (for applicable civil and roadwork positions)
• Ability to pass pre-employment checks, including medical and drug & alcohol screening where required

Desirable Tickets & Qualifications:

• Bush Regeneration, Conservation or Land Management qualifications
• Traffic Control tickets
• MR or HR Licence
• Chemical Accreditation (ChemCert)
• First Aid Certificate
• Chainsaw qualifications
• Horticulture, Landscaping or Greenkeeping qualifications
