Walcom Ngarrwa Secondary College seeks a passionate classroom teacher to deliver engaging lessons, design learning experiences and assess student progress across Years 7–9. The role emphasises high-quality instruction aligned with the Victorian curriculum and participation in school initiatives that support student learning, wellbeing and engagement.

The successful candidate will contribute to policy development, mentor student teachers and collaborate with families and staff to enhance learning

Qualifications

• Knowledge of relevant curriculum and literacy/numeracy integration.
• Experience planning for high impact teaching strategies and evaluating impact.
• Experience monitoring and assessing learning, using data to inform practice and feedback.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills for collaboration with students, parents and staff.
• Commitment to Department values and reflective practice for improvement.

Responsabilités

• Direct teaching of groups and individuals.
• Develop and evaluate curriculum programs within the school.
• Undertake other duties as determined by the Principal.
• Participate in parent/teacher meetings, staff meetings, camps and excursions.
• Contribute to school policies and co-curricular activities.
