Job summary

Data#3 Limited is seeking an OT Applications & Platform Operations Manager to lead a newly formed function focused on availability, security and operational health of OT applications and platforms. You will build the team, set the operating model and own the growing technology estate supporting facility operations, telemetry, customer billing and physical security.

You will lead patching, monitoring, licensing and lifecycle activities, onboarding sites and customers to standards, and collaborate

Qualifications

• Strong experience across technology operations, application management or platform operations.
• Experience leading technology teams in production environments.
• Solid understanding of ITIL, incident/change management, monitoring and service management.
• Experience managing applications and supporting platforms across their lifecycle.
• Strong stakeholder and vendor management skills.
• Ability to establish and mature a new operational function.

OT Applications & Platform Operations Manager

An opportunity to lead and establish a newly formed Operational Technology applications and platform operations function within our customer who is a fast-growing, market leading Technology Company.

This is a hands- on leadership role responsible for ensuring critical OT applications and their supporting platforms remain available, secure, supported and operationally healthy. You’ll build the team, establish the operating model and take ownership of a growing technology estate supporting facility operations, telemetry, customer billing and physical security.

What you'll be doing

• Build and lead the OT Applications & Platform Operations team
• Own the operational health and lifecycle of critical OT applications and platforms
• Manage patching, monitoring, licensing, support and platform currency
• Establish the OT application inventory, operational baselines, KPIs and service levels
• Manage incident, change, release and vendor activities
• Onboard new sites and customers to established technology standards

What we're looking for

• Strong stakeholder and vendor management skills
• Ability to establish and mature a new operational function

Highly regarded: Experience with Operational Technology, SCADA, BMS, physical security systems, telemetry, IoT or other critical- infrastructure environments.
