Job summary

YMCA South Australia is seeking an OSHC Regional Manager to lead across a portfolio of school-based services in South Australia, driving quality care and continuous improvement. The role reports to the Children's Services Operations Manager and focuses on staff development, budget oversight, and service excellence.

Successful candidates will bring tertiary qualifications in Children’s Services, RRHAN-EC, and HLTAID012 First Aid, with strong leadership experience and a commitment to safeguarding

Qualifications

• Successful candidates will also have, or be willing to obtain:
• Tertiary qualification in Children’s Services (relevant field)
• Certificate of RRHAN-EC training
• HLTAID012 Current Provide Emergency First Aid in an Education and Care Setting
• Strong leadership experience to staff including training, quality improvement, support, and maintaining the standards of the service

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership to ensure quality care, recreation and leisure programs for children, and direction, support, and continuous learning for staff according to the National Quality Standards
• Build the YMCA South Australia’s reputation as a quality provider of OSHC services
• Provide first level support to OSHC Directors, including reviewing reports, Vacation Care programs, and timely response to questions
• Support a culture of continuous learning in the workplace (including own workplace learning)
• Attend Advisory Committee and School Leadership meetings as required
• In conjunction with the Children's Services Operations Manager; prepare, monitor and review the service’s annual budget and fee structure

As OSHC Regional Manager, reporting to the Children's Services Operations Manager, you will lead across a portfolio of school-based services throughout South Australia, championing quality care, continuous improvement and a culture where both children and staff truly thrive.

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

• HLTAID012 Current Provide Emergency First Aid in an Education and Care Setting
• Strong leadership experience to staff including training, quality improvement, support, and maintaining the standards of the service
