Job summary

anzuk is seeking passionate OSHC educators to join our casual team in Melbourne's West for 2026, working with primary school children at before and after school care facilities.

Educators can be qualified or enrolled in a child-related course, with flexible hours across a range of services and opportunities to continue working with partner schools after studies are completed.

Qualifications

• Cert III/Diploma in children's services or Bachelor of Education.
• Experience working with early childhood or primary school aged children – employed, placement or volunteer.
• WWCC (employee) and VIT eligibility; 2 relevant educational/childcare references.
• First Aid is desirable but not required.

Responsibilities

• Work with OSHC services across Melbourne West.
• Provide support to children before and after school.
• Flexible shifts within partner schools.
• Potential opportunities after completing studies (Primary/Secondary Casual Relief Teaching, Educational Support, Early Childhood/Long Day Care).

anzuk is currently seeking passionate educators seeking before and after school care work in Melbourne.

About The Role

anzuk are currently recruiting for passionate OSHC (out of school hours care) educators to join our casual team for 2026 in Melbourne's West. We are working with a range of services and are looking for enthusiastic staff to work with primary aged children at before and after school care facilities. This is a fantastic opportunity for students currently studying their education degree or early childhood certificate and wanting flexible hours.

Educators can be either qualified or currently enrolled in a child related course to work in OSHC. Please note this is not Teaching Assistant work (TA).

Hours

• BSC: 6:30 am – 9:00 am
• ASC: 2:30 pm – 6:00 pm

Skills/Experience

• Cert III/Diploma in children's services or completed/currently completing a Bachelor of Education degree (such as primary, secondary or early childhood)
• Experience working with early childhood or primary school aged children – employed, placement, volunteer
• WWCC (employee)/VIT
• 2 relevant references in an education/childcare settingFirst Aid (desirable but not required)
