A leading education provider is seeking enthusiastic and passionate educators for casual out of school hours care (OSHC) positions in Geelong, Victoria. This role involves providing care before and after school, as well as during school holidays. Suitable candidates can be either qualified or currently enrolled in relevant education courses. The position offers flexibility and an opportunity to positively impact children’s learning outcomes.

Qualifications

  • Must have a WWCC (employee)/VIT.
  • 2 relevant references from their specific field.
  • First Aid certification is desirable.

Responsibilities

  • Provide out of school hours care for children.
  • Ensure safety and well-being of children.
  • Develop engaging activities for children's development.

anzuk are currently seeking enthusiastic and passionate educators to join our casual OSHC (out of school hours care) team across the Geelong region during term (before and after school care) and throughout school holiday periods. This is an exceptional opportunity to develop your skills, network with schools and have flexible hours throughout the year.

Please note that this is NOT teaching assistant work and is within the below hours:

Before/After School Care & Vacation Care Hours

BSC: 6:30AM - 9:00AM
ASC: 2:30PM - 6:00PM
VAC: 6:30AM - 6:00PM

Requirements

Educators can be either qualified or currently enrolled in one of the below courses to work in OSHC

Other qualifications that can be held/working towards (but not limited to):

  • Education degree (such as primary, secondary or early childhood)
  • Children's Services
  • Community Services
  • Education Support
  • Youth Work OR Youth Studies
  • Disability
  • Nursing
  • Sports and Recreation
  • Physical education
  • Out of school hours care
  • Post-secondary qualifications in the fields of health or allied health including but not limited to audiology, speech pathology, occupational therapy, psychology, social work, physiotherapy, dietetics and specialist therapies such as music and movement

Skills/Experience

Suitable applicants for this role must have the following:
