Job summary

YMCA Victoria is seeking Casual Educators for Before and After School Care and School Holiday Programs in Yarrawonga. Shifts vary on a roster and include mornings and afternoons with split-shift loading available. Hourly rate starts at $40.59 p/hour plus super and retention payments.

This casual role supports OSHC services with dual staffing and flexible rosters. Applicants must have ACECQA-approved qualifications or be willing to enrol, WWCC, and relevant safety training.

What’s the opportunity?

Y Victoria is currently seeking Casual Educators for our Before and After School Care and School Holiday Programs within Yarrawonga. This is a casual position, with working hours varying from Monday to Friday, on a rostered basis between 7:00am - 9:00am and 2:30pm - 6:00pm (you’ll also be paid split shift loading if you work both)! School Holidays shifts vary across 6:30am - 6:30pm. The hourly rate for the position is between $40.59 p/hour onwards (depending on your qualification & experience) + ECEC retention payment + super.

What will I need?

• You’ll need to have either completed or be working towards an ACECQA-approved qualification (see the link below) – or willing to enrol in a course
• You’ll need to have, or be willing to obtain a First Aid in an Education & Care Setting certificate (or equivalent)
• Protecting Children - Mandatory Reporting & Other Obligations Early Childhood
• National child safety training - Foundation training
• You’ll need to have, or be willing to obtain a valid Victorian Working with Children’s Check – employee check
