Job summary

Sustainable OSHC Seaforth Centre is seeking a dedicated Out of School Hours Care Educator to join our Seaforth team. This full-time role supports before-school, after-school and vacation care programs, delivering engaging activities while safeguarding children's wellbeing and development.

The ideal candidate holds a relevant qualification in Children’s Services or a related field, with at least one year’s OSHC or school-age care experience, strong communication, and a current Working with

Qualifications

• Relevant qualification in Children’s Services, Early Childhood Education and Care, School Age Education and Care, or a related field.
• At least one year of relevant experience in a similar OSHC or school-age setting.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills with children and families.
• Current Working with Children Check and First Aid/ CPR qualifications, or ability to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality care and supervision for school-aged children in before-school, after-school, and vacation care.
• Plan and deliver engaging educational and recreational activities.
• Support learning, wellbeing, development, and participation through play-based experiences.
• Observe and document children's learning; contribute to programming.
• Foster positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues.
• Maintain a safe, inclusive environment; support policy compliance.
• Attend meetings, training and professional development as required.
• Work with Educational Leader and other educators to achieve outcomes.
• Participate in reflective practice and continuous improvement.
• Comply with National Quality Framework, child protection obligations.
