Job summary

The Y Victoria is currently seeking casual Educators to join our Before and After School Care and School Holiday Programs at Wilandra Rise Primary School in Melbourne. This casual role offers rostered hours Monday to Friday, with split shifts between 7:00am-9:00am and 2:30pm-6:00pm, plus school holiday coverage as needed.

You will support children, build positive relationships with families and the school community, and work under the OSHC team and a Coordinator to run programs.

Qualifications

• ACEQA/ACECQA-verified early childhood qualification required or in progress.
• First Aid in an Education & Care Setting certificate (or equivalent).
• Strong understanding of OSHC programs and child safety requirements.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging OSHC sessions before/after school and during school holidays.
• Support positive relationships with children, families and the school community.
• Work with Coordinator and OSHC team to run programs and ensure safety.
