Job summary

Ymcansw is seeking an enthusiastic Educator to join their OSHC services in Newcastle City Council, NSW. In this role, you will assist in delivering fun and age-appropriate activities for school-aged children, ensuring their safety and wellbeing.

The ideal candidate will hold qualifications in Education or related fields and have experience working with children. This position offers flexible shifts and opportunities for professional development.

What You’ll Do

• Implement engaging programs for children (5–12 yrs)
• Provide exceptional care and active supervision
• Foster strong relationships with families, schools, and your team
• Support compliance with the National Quality Framework and Y’s safeguarding culture

About You

• You are enthusiastic, reliable, and love working with children
• Hold, or are working toward, qualifications in Education or related fields (desirable)
• Have a valid Working with Children Check
• Current First Aid (HLTAID012), CPR (HLTAID009) and Child Protection (CHCPRT025/6) Certificates
